With the ability to connect to the multitude of cables, you can use them for the on-site connection cables and also on the central connection board. They are becoming pretty common in the market with usability. The modular connectors are only useful in connecting one type of cables. But, it can use the one-end to connect the cable and the other one to plug into the central system. So, the engineers prefer using circular connectors for extending the cables and then modular connectors for finalizing the connection for an efficient network and power relay.
